Set-Up Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Event Hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
1. Agreement
This agreement is made between INDIEFEST ("Organizer") and the undersigned Food Truck Vendor ("Vendor"). By signing this agreement, Vendor agrees to comply with all rules, guidelines, and requirements outlined herein.
2. Booth & Space Information

Space is designated for licensed food trucks only.

Food trucks must be self-contained and able to operate within their assigned footprint.

Assigned space will be communicated in advance.

No vehicles may enter or exit the festival area during event hours (except food trucks during set-up and tear-down as directed by the Organizer).
3. Fees & Payment

Fee: $500 flat rate (includes space only).

Payment is due in full at the time of application approval to reserve space.

All sales are final. No refunds.
4. Required Documentation
Vendors must provide copies of the following by August 15, 2025:

Valid City of Detroit Mobile Food Vendor License.

Valid Wayne County Health Department Food Service License.

Proof of Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000 coverage; INDIEFEST listed as additional insured).

Any required fire or propane permits.
5. Set-Up & Tear-Down

Set-Up: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Tear-Down: Begins at 9:00 PM after festival close.

Vendors must vacate the premises by 11:00 PM.

No early breakdown is permitted.
6. Operations & Compliance

All vendors must comply with City of Detroit Health Department regulations.

Trucks must be inspected and approved before opening for service.

All propane tanks and cooking equipment must meet fire safety standards.

Vendor is responsible for keeping their area clean and free of trash during and after the event.

Grease, gray water, and waste must be disposed of off-site in accordance with local regulations (no dumping on-site).

Vendors must provide their own quiet-run generators (if needed).
7. Prohibited Items

Alcohol sales unless pre-approved by Organizer and licensed.

Amplified music or generators louder than city ordinance allows.
-
Distribution of non-food items unless approved.
8. Indemnification
Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless INDIEFEST, its organizers, sponsors, staff, volunteers, and the City of Detroit from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from Vendor’s participation.
9. Termination
The Organizer reserves the right to remove any Vendor from the event for non-compliance with this agreement without refund.
